Outlaw

The new K.A.P. Outlaw has been designed to build on the success of its predecessor the K.A.P. Bandit using the latest technology. The Outlaw has a lower centre of gravity, a 104 inch wheelbase and an overall height 6 inches less than most Land Rover race vehicles. The overall height of the Outlaw is 2.5 inches less than the Bandit and has a much wider cockpit. The computer aided designed triangulated tubular spaceframe is available in CDS or T45 tubing and comes complete with all suspension mounts, radius mounts, steering box mounts, front panhard rod brackets and rear watts linkage brackets. The frame is supplied under contract from the UK's leading cage specialist Protection and Performance and complies with all current FIA international regulations.

The frame tubing is bent using a state of the art CNC mandrel push bender and is manufactured under strict quality control. The Outlaw is designed to take a whole range of engines. The full GRP shell is based on a Suzuki Swift. The front end panels are available separately (in case of any accident damage).

K.A.P.'s works Outlaw runs a specially developed 3.5 Cosworth 24 valve V6 engine producing in excess of 300 bhp mated to a Quaife sequential gear box which feeds this power to a Milner remote transfer box. The Outlaw uses Fox twin shockers on each corner comprising of an adjustable bypass shocker and a Fox coil over shocker to give it all the agility it needs to be competitive on the roughest terrain.
